Labourer, Industrial Services (Evening Shift)

Job Summary
Our St. Johns NL facility is currently seeking labourers to join our team. Helpers/laborers are accountable to provide support on our fleet of hydro-excavation/line flushing vacuum trucks. Successful candidates will receive in-house training and duties would include but not be limited to;
Job Duties
Ensuring that all equipment and systems are being operated to GFL standards
Working with high pressure water
Hydro-excavation of soil/material in exposing water/sewer lines for repairs
Flushing of sewer mains using high pressure water
Cleaning of catch basins
Assisting in the offloading of debris from truck debris tanks
General maintenance in upkeep of vehicles (greasing/cleaning)
Adhering to all applicable operating procedures
Participating in a rotational on-call support schedule as required
Perform other operational duties as assigned.
Requirements
Ability to work evening shift 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
Ability to participate in rotational on-call support schedule as required
Lift objects/equipment up to 50lbs
Strong team player with the ability to work independently
Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Legally eligible to work in Canada
