Position Summary
WWP Architects and Planners Inc. is looking for Junior and Intermediate Architects or Designers to join our award-winning team in our Toronto Toronto Studio.
This position is both design and technically focused requiring individuals who can synthesize strong design intent with technical resolution. Critical thinking is at the core of our approach to design. We encourage design input at all levels and are looking for candidates that will invest in projects with the same level of passion that we bring to our work.
Qualifications :
Qualifications and Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience.
- OAA licensed architect or currently undertaking the IAP process an asset.
- Experience in multi-family housing and City approvals process is an asset.
- Exceptional design communication organization and interpersonal skills.
- Strong in Revit Rhino Enscape and Adobe suite.
- Technical understanding of building construction detailing including experience in mid-rise and high-rise mixed-use buildings an asset.
- Strong graphic and representation skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear and compelling drawings and diagrams.
- Project management experience an asset.
- Experience with passive house and net zero design principles including energy modeling daylighting analysis and life cycle assessment tools are an asset.
- Experience in transit and/or aviation projects is an asset.
- Experience in project delivery from SD through to IFC is an asset.

- Exceptional design skills generating creative and innovative solutions to problems.
- Excellent and organizational skills including planning organizing scheduling in an efficient productive manner with focus on key priorities.

The salary range for this role is $65000 to $85000 commensurate based on experience and level.
