Journeyman Electrician
Job Summary
- Hours: Project dependent; Monday - Friday. Minimum 40 hours per week with overtime necessary during the busy season (April-October)
- Hourly rate is dependent on experience.

- Interpret electrical code specifications.
- Read and interpret drawings blueprints schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity current voltage and resistance.
- Maintain repair install and test switchgear transformers switchboard meters regulators and reactors.
- Troubleshoot maintain and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices.
- Journeyman Electrician Certification or equivalent is required.
- At least 2-3 years working as a Journeyman Electrician or equivalent experience required.
- Good physical stamina manual dexterity and the ability to lift heavy parts climb ladders.
- CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 are required.
- Fall Protection & Rescue Aerial Platform Confined Spaces Rigging/Hoisting and Hand. Signals H2S Alive and First Aid/CPR certification would be an asset.
- You have a safety conscious attitude and able to work with others in a team.
- A reliable means of transportation is required.
- Proficient English language skills required.
