Job Description

Role Overview

The Senior Java/Python Developer designs builds and supports secure scalable and resilient backend services and APIs. This role provides hands-on technical leadership across the software development lifecycle partners with business and technology stakeholders and advances engineering practices in microservices cloud delivery automation observability and production reliability.

Job Accountabilities

Design develop test deploy and maintain secure scalable microservices backend applications and RESTful APIs using Java Spring Boot and Python.
Translate business and technical requirements into pragmatic solution designs estimates prototypes and production-ready implementations aligned with architecture and security standards.
Apply clean-code principles and automated testing conduct code and design reviews and maintain clear technical API and operational documentation.
Build and improve CI/CD pipelines cloud deployments containerized workloads monitoring logging alerting and other engineering automation.
Own application reliability by troubleshooting complex defects and incidents performing root-cause analysis optimizing performance and delivering sustainable remediation.
Collaborate with product architecture security quality engineering DevOps and dependent teams to manage delivery scope risks dependencies and releases.
Provide technical leadership by mentoring engineers sharing standards and reusable patterns evaluating emerging technologies and driving continuous improvement across the team.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from CAD 100000 to CAD 150000 .
