- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies.
- Respond to e-mails or phone calls from members regarding our pension or post-retirement benefit plans.
- Maintain member records in the system for pension and post-retirement benefits plans.
- Support the administration of the Companys defined benefit pension plans such as pension adjustments pension adjustment reversals and annual pension statements.
- Support the calculation and payment of defined benefit pension entitlements on retirement termination death and marriage breakdown.
- Support other administrative tasks such as reviewing and following up on returned pension paperwork sending member communications reconciling monthly member status reports and payment of pension invoices.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science or related program (Mathematics Statistics Business).
- Previous knowledge of defined benefit pension plans or pension plan administration is considered an asset.
- Highly organized detail oriented and a self-starter
- Superior interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to prioritize and work under pressure with minimal supervision
- Advanced Word and Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills

Salary: $4117 - $5192 CAD/month
Salary is commensurate with the number of academic semesters and prior co-op experiences completed.
