Janitorial Supervisor ()

How Youll Make an Impact:  

• Supervise and coordinate the work of janitorial staff on both day and night shift in cleaning and maintaining the manufacturing facilitiy in accordance with GMP standards and company policies.
• Develop and maintain cleaning schedules and checklists and ensure that they are followed by the janitorial staff.
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are maintained and stored properly and that any defects or issues are promptly reported and addressed.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure that all areas are clean and well-maintained and that any issues are identified and addressed promptly.
• Monitor and track the use of cleaning supplies and equipment and ensure that all inventory levels are maintained according to company standards.
• Train janitorial staff in proper cleaning techniques GMP guidelines and safety procedures.
• Ensure that all janitorial staff adhere to company policies and procedures including safety security and environmental policies.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that cleaning activities do not interfere with production or other operations.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities including cleaning logs work orders and inspection reports.
• Participates in regular safety meetings safety training and hazard assessments
   

Qualifications :

What Youll Need to Succeed: 

• College diploma or equivalent; or high school degree with significant experience in a GMP environment for cleaning maintenance or related field is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in janitorial or custodial work with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of GMP standards and regulations in a pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with employees managers and other stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to train and develop employees and to build and maintain effective teams.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative while also collaborating effectively with others.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with janitorial work.
