Inventory Control Coordinator

Youll help keep warehouse inventory accurate organized and moving efficiently. Youll monitor receiving storage product rotation investigate inventory discrepancies and work closely with Production Management and Category teams to address supply and inventory issues. Here are some of the other ways youll help us stand out:

• Determine appropriate inventory levels by SKU to support accurate inventory counts.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies including: miss-picks and identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy.
• Monitor receiving and inventory activity and communicate supply-related issues including: shortages damages rotation concerns and incorrect receives in a timely manner.
• Monitor product expiry dates and communicate close-dated product concerns to Management and Procurement for appropriate follow-up.
• Assist with claim investigations and provide information to support resolution of inventory and product related issues from Retail locations.
• Monitor storage areas and report concerns to Production Management including: improper pallet stacking product damage or other conditions requiring corrective action.
• Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment and follow all Health & Safety food safety sanitation dress code and company policies and procedures.
• Support a positive service experience when working with employees customers suppliers and other business partners.
• Contribute to overall operational success by taking on additional responsibilities as required.

• Typically requires post-secondary education in Office Administration Supply Chain or a related field plus 2 years of related experience in a warehouse production or distribution environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous forklift experience is required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and personal initiative with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of proper lifting techniques and safe material-handling practices.
• Strong commitment to sanitation cleanliness food safety and workplace safety.
• Customer-focused with a strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on setting that involves multiple deadlines extended periods of standing heavy lifting repetitive movement or tasks frequent use of protective equipment or clothing and work that is frequently performed in colder environments.
• Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset.
