You will work in our office in Waterloo ON a minimum of two (2) assigned consecutive days every other week plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum youll do:Plan schedule and execute hardware and firmware patching activities for enterprise endpoints including BIOS driver and device firmware endpoint devices meet security patch compliance and vulnerability remediation requirements aligning with enterprise security and lifecycle endpoint management tools (e.g. Intune SCCM or equivalent) to deploy monitor and report on patch compliance success rates and remediation patch deployments proactively identify risks and troubleshoot and remediate failed or degraded hardware patching accurate documentation baselines and standards for hardware patching endpoint configuration and lifecycle with infrastructure and security teams to coordinate patching activities and ensure alignment with enterprise change and compliance with internal and external teams to improve service quality by identifying trends performing root cause analysis and implementing sustainable solutions that enhance system stability and user hands-on configuration maintenance and troubleshooting of endpoint technologies including hardware components operating systems and enterprise lifecycle activities such as device provisioning upgrades replacements and decommissioning in accordance with asset management to the maintenance and continuous improvement of operational processes procedures and quality management capacity utilization and performance of supported technologies and take proactive action to maintain operational availability and technical guidance and knowledge sharing to peers and end users to support effective and consistent use of enterprise youll bring:3 years of experience in IT preferably in endpoint management desktop engineering or digital workplace -secondary education or equivalent experience in computer science computer systems engineering or related discipline.
