Job Summary:

As an Intermediate Project Scheduler you will develop maintain and monitor project schedules for engineering and infrastructure projects within the energy and infrastructure sectors. Working closely with project managers engineering teams clients and other stakeholders you will support effective project planning resource coordination and schedule performance throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to provide accurate schedule reporting that supports successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Scheduling & Planning

  • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules that align with project scope milestones and contractual requirements.
  • Establish schedule baselines and update project schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support project planning activities by coordinating schedule inputs from multidisciplinary teams.
  • Assist in developing work breakdown structures sequencing activities and defining project milestones.
Schedule Monitoring & Analysis
  • Monitor project progress against established schedules and identify variances delays and potential impacts.
  • Perform schedule analysis forecasting and critical path assessments to support project decision-making.
  • Identify scheduling risks and recommend mitigation strategies to maintain project objectives.
  • Support schedule recovery planning when required.
Reporting & Project Controls
  • Prepare regular schedule updates progress reports dashboards and performance metrics for project teams and leadership.
  • Track key schedule indicators and communicate schedule status trends and potential issues to stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling documentation and project records in accordance with company standards.
  • Support integration of scheduling activities with project controls cost tracking and reporting processes.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Coordination
  • Work closely with project managers engineers construction teams and clients to gather schedule information and validate project progress.
  • Participate in project meetings to provide scheduling updates and support planning discussions.
  • Coordinate schedule changes and ensure revisions are communicated to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
Quality Risk & Continuous Improvement
  • Ensure scheduling activities comply with company procedures project requirements and applicable industry standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve scheduling processes reporting methods and planning practices.
  • Support lessons learned initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of project controls processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Engineering Construction Management Project Management Business or a related discipline.
  • 49 years of project scheduling experience preferably supporting engineering energy infrastructure or industrial projects.
  • Demonstrated experience developing maintaining and analyzing project schedules across multiple project phases.
  • Strong understanding of scheduling methodologies project controls principles and project lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency with general scheduling project management reporting and collaboration software.
  • Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Familiarity with contract milestones schedule reporting and risk management practices.
  • Professional scheduling or project management certifications are considered an asset.
