Intermediate Environmental Professional
Job Summary
** This position will be supporting projects in the Fort St. John BC area **
As an Intermediate Environmental Professional you will collaborate with clients and staff to design work plans for contaminated sites coordinate subcontractors manage projects and report on site characterization and remediation. You will have 5 years of relevant consulting experience particularly in BC or the Oil and Gas sector and a diploma or degree in environmental science or a related field. This role involves travel for field-based projects.
What would you be doing
- Experience coordinating and executing remediation programs including Preliminary and Detailed Site Investigations Phase 1 and 2 Environmental Site Assessments In-Situ/Ex-Situ remediation and groundwater monitoring.
- Strong skills in cost tracking reporting and technical review of environmental reports.
- Ability to implement and adhere to corporate and client safety programs.
- Effective project management skills to ensure timely and successful completion of project requirements.

Qualifications :
- Diploma or degree in environmental science/engineering or a related field with a valid Class 5 Drivers License and eligibility for professional designation.
- Strong knowledge of BC contaminated site regulation and environmental regulations with proven field skills in soil characterization groundwater monitoring and sampling.
- Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal with the ability to influence and collaborate across organizations.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects in fast-paced deadline-driven environments while prioritizing and adapting to changing work demands.
- Strong problem-solving abilities proactive initiative and a demonstrated capacity to build relationships and work effectively within diverse teams.

Salary Range: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour
