Informatica CDGC Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Informatica CDGC Consultant to support the implementation configuration and ongoing management of Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC). The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise in metadata management data governance lineage implementation and Informatica data integration technologies.

This role will work closely with both technical and business stakeholders to establish and maintain a robust data governance framework while ensuring high-quality metadata management and data catalog capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Informatica CDGC Administration & Configuration

• Develop configure and maintain Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC).
• Perform technical onboarding and scanning of enterprise data sources including:
  • Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
  • Cloud platforms
  • Relational databases
  • Data warehouse environments
• Configure and manage technical and business metadata within CDGC.

Metadata & Data Governance Management

• Configure and maintain:
  • Custom attributes
  • Business classifications and tags
  • Asset relationships
  • Business glossary associations
• Support governance capabilities including:
  • Data stewardship
  • Data ownership
  • Certification processes
  • Governance workflows
• Collaborate with business and data governance teams to establish governance standards and best practices.

Data Lineage & Integration

• Implement validate and troubleshoot end-to-end data lineage within CDGC.
• Utilize CDGC APIs for:
  • Metadata automation
  • Integration development
  • Operational workflows
  • Governance process automation
• Support metadata synchronization and integration across enterprise data platforms.

Support & Troubleshooting

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:
  • CDGC connectors
  • Metadata scanning
  • Data lineage
  • API integrations
  • User access and security
• Provide ongoing operational support and enhancements for governance and catalog solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Informatica ETL solutions including:
  • Informatica PowerCenter
  • Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
• Experience implementing or supporting Informatica CDGC or similar data governance and catalog platforms.
• Strong SQL and relational database expertise.
• Understanding of:
  • Data warehousing concepts
  • Metadata management
  • Data integration architectures
  • Data governance frameworks
• Experience working with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and Azure environments.
• Knowledge of data governance best practices and metadata management processes.
• Experience with API integrations and automation.
• Exposure to enterprise data catalog and lineage solutions.
