Job Summary

The Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC) is hiring a HelperforIndustrialMechanics/Millwrightson a permanent basis on our Maintenance & Reliability team.

This position requires on-site work and is based in Regina SK.

Shift: 4 on 3 off

Whatyoulldo:

The key role of this position is to efficiently carry outTrade duties in the Mechanic Trade section and perform other duties as assigned of a comparable or lesser degree include but are not limited to:

  • Themaintenance and repair of compressorspumpsand other rotating equipment as well as mobile equipmenttrucksand high-speed packaging equipment.
  • Other duties asrequired.

The Team:You will work closely with otherhelpersandTradesperson across the Maintenance Department and will report into the Trades Supervisor.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career inâProduction Trades and Maintenanceâand:

  • Candidates must follow the CCRL Work-Safe Approach. Completion of Grade XII including Chemistry 30 Physics 30 and Math/Algebra 30 is required. If the candidate is missing one of these three classes the application will be accepted provided the missing class is completed within a prescribedtime period.
  • Applications from candidates who do not possess technical qualifications (ex. education tickets) required for the position as of the closing date of application will not be accepted.
  • Candidates must have superior mechanical aptitude the physical capability to perform heavy work associated with theposition anddemonstrated ability in the performance of semi-skilled maintenance work.
  • The person appointed to this position will be required to undertake the applicable trades training courses to qualify for advancement.
