Are you a skilled Industrial Electrician with a passion for automation and technology Were seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team at the brewery in Saint John NB. If you have experience with PLC programming a strong understanding of electrical systems in industrial settings and have a continuous desire to learn then this is the opportunity for you!

In this role youll work on maintaining troubleshooting and optimizing electrical control systems ensuring smooth and efficient operation in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Join us and be part of a team that values innovation technical expertise and continuous improvement.

What youll do
Responsibilities
  • Install program and troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment including programmable logic controllers (PLC) AC/DC variable speed drives and human-machine interfaces (HMI).
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of current and voltage characteristics including single-phase and three-phase systems (110Vac 220Vac 440Vac 575Vac) DC voltage distribution panels and substation switchgear.
  • Work effectively with computers utilizing various PC programs and operating systems.
  • Diagnose and test motors and motor control circuits with a high level of proficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with operators and maintenance personnel regarding operating procedures and safety requirements when working with electrical and electronic components and equipment.
What youll need
Qualifications
  • Valid Province of N.B. Industrial Electrical Journeyman License or within 6 months of obtaining is preferred.
  • An apprentice who has successfully completed the Industrial Control Technology/Electrical Instrumentation & Controls program at NBCC may be considered.
  • 2-3 years experience in a manufacturing plant setting would be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley Drives Relay Logic PLCs and programming.
  • Strong focus on safety

  • Self-directed and shows initiative with little supervision
  • Excellent execution skills with solid process discipline and high standards
  • Effective listening and communication skills
  • You have an approachable team-oriented personality
  • You are energetic with a strong work ethic and are results oriented
