Job Summary
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to work on customer sites around Greater Vancouver BC. The position requires hands-on installation wiring and troubleshooting of power distribution and control panels. Its important the hired person is competent in this regard and able to work in the field independently on customer site. They must be capable and experienced with power conversion and have power and controls experience.
Duties include:
-Troubleshooting and repairing power and controls systems
-Working in field role on customer sites diagnosing fixing electrical systems on customer assets
-Installing maintaining and repairing electrical power systems (transformers generators switchboards power converters)
The successful candidate will have industrial electrician experience in oil and gas forestry heavy equipment boat/vessel or other related power system machinery install/repair setting.
Union position with collective loaded rate at $85-90 per hour (base wage pension vac/stat hw) for candidate deemed competent and meeting pre-employment checks.

Requirements
-5-10 years experience as industrial electrician
-Demonstrated knowledge and experience with installing repairing maintaining troubleshooting power systems
-Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada
-Fluent in verbal and written English
-Based in Greater Vancouver BC area and able to travel regionally up to 30%
-Formal electrical education from verified institution (red seal in Canada preferred)
