Heres how aICAT Coordinator for PCL Constructors Canada Inc. on the QE II project in Halifax contributes to our team:
- Assists with the coordination and installation of integrated communications audiovisual security and network infrastructure systems.
- Supports the administration of requests for information (RFIs) shop drawings submittals and coordination documentation.
- Helps track RFIs and project documentation to support timely responses and issue resolution.
- Assists with quality management processes inspections testing and commissioning activities.
- Supports the preparation and maintenance of commissioning documentation and project closeout deliverables.
- Participates in site inspections and coordination meetings with consultants designers engineers and trade contractors.
- Maintains project records reports operation and maintenance manuals warranty information and closeout documentation.
- Builds positive working relationships with project stakeholders and supports a customer-focused approach.
- Learns and follows company policies procedures and safety requirements.
- Other duties as required.
- Diploma or bachelors degree in engineering construction management engineering technology information technology telecommunications or a related field.
- 1-3 years of related experience including co-op internship or construction project experience.
- Basic understanding of network cabling systems including copper fibre optic security and audiovisual cabling.
- Familiarity with construction drawings specifications and project documentation is an asset.
- Interest in building systems technology infrastructure telecommunications or low-voltage systems.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Effective verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other computer applications.
