Job Summary
Position Description:
CGI is seeking an experienced IBM Maximo Specialist to join our team in Atlantic this permanent full-time position you will play a key role in implementing configuring enhancing and optimizing IBM Maximo solutions that support enterprise asset management for our clients. Working closely with business and technical stakeholders you will help deliver scalable and efficient asset management solutions improve maintenance and operational processes and support system integrations. This is a hybrid position and candidates must be located near one of CGIs Atlantic offices in Halifax NS; Moncton NB; Fredericton NB; Stratford PEI; or St. Johns NL.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Implement configure enhance and support IBM Maximo solutions to meet business and operational requirements.
Collaborate with business stakeholders operations teams engineering field services and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Configure and maintain Maximo applications workflows business rules security and reporting capabilities.
Support enterprise asset management processes including asset hierarchies work management preventive maintenance inventory procurement and materials management.
Assist with system integrations between IBM Maximo and other enterprise applications including GIS/Esri platforms where applicable.
Participate in system upgrades testing deployment and ongoing optimization initiatives.
Facilitate workshops support user acceptance testing and provide functional guidance to business users.
Troubleshoot application issues and recommend improvements to maximize system performance and usability.
Prepare and maintain solution documentation configuration guides and operational procedures.
Stay current with IBM Maximo Application Suite capabilities and industry best practices.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
7 years of overall IT or Enterprise Asset Management experience including at least 5 years of hands-on IBM Maximo experience.
Strong functional and/or technical expertise with IBM Maximo including implementation configuration administration or support.
Experience with enterprise asset management processes such as asset management work orders preventive maintenance inventory management and materials management.
Experience configuring workflows business processes reporting and security within IBM Maximo.
Knowledge of Maximo Application Suite (MAS) and its capabilities.
Experience supporting system integrations using the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) APIs or web services is considered an asset.
Experience with Maximo Spatial and integrations with Esri/ArcGIS solutions is considered an asset.
Experience supporting electric utilities energy organizations or other asset-intensive industries is strongly preferred.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work directly with business and technical stakeholders.
Experience facilitating workshops gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions.
IBM Maximo certifications are considered an asset.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90000$140000. This role is a future vacancy.
