Our continued commitment to servicing the prototype to mid-volume clientele has awarded us with strong stable growth over 40 successful years and many valued long-term Title: HR Administrator 3-months Contract with a possibility of extensionReports To: HR ManagerDepartment: HRRole Purpose: The Human Resources Administrator supports the daily operation of the HR Department and administers various HR processes. This role requires interaction with Microart employees at every level of the organization and external : 8:30 AM 5:00 PM 24 per week (Wednesday Thursday Friday)Rate: $18/hour - $19/ Responsibilities:Support Microarts summer student programAdminister the HR email inbox answering or redirecting inquires to the appropriate HR resourceFacilitate set-up for new department employees liaising with various internal functionsAdminister Microarts benefit processes including updating HRIS and carrier website data Provide support to the HR department Liaise with employees regarding policies procedures and other queriesAssist with general administrative support and contribute to other People initiatives as required Assists with the recruitment process including short listing candidates scheduling and preparing interview packages interviewing conducting reference checks and sending out regret letters Responsible for producing job offer letters verifying and completing change forms and internal transfer paperwork and confirmation of employment lettersPrepares and submits documentation for employee appointments terminations transfers and other employee changesResponsible for coordinating background checks using systems and outside agencies; gathering new hire paperworkAssists with the preparation and delivery of new employee orientationResponsible for new hire set up in HRIS and producing routine and adhoc HRIS reports Conduct exit interviews and coordinate employee transition activitiesOther duties as assignedQualifications:Degree/Diploma in Human Resources Management or equivalent education/experienceMinimum 1 year of work experience in HR Experience with HRIS (Ceridian Dayforce) systems is assetPossess a positive attitude and strong active listening skills with the ability to respond appropriately and demonstrate assertiveness when necessaryProven self-starter with time management skills and the ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment with shifting priorities and strong attention to detailAble to work autonomously while possessing strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills (both verbally and in writing)Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion diplomacy and confidentialityStrong computer skills using suite of Microsoft Office and other related software programsThis job posting is for an existing note that artificial intelligence (AI) is not used at any stage of our recruitment process.
