Overview

We are seeking a passionate HSE (Health Safety and Environment) Coordinator to support our operations across Quebec and the Maritimes. Reporting to the Regional HSE Manager you will play a key role in supporting multidisciplinary teams working in the fields of materials engineering geotechnics and environmental services.

Your Role
  • Support Vice Presidents and Directors in achieving their HSE and operational objectives.
  • Monitor HSE action plans performance indicators and objectives across business units.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams on HSE-related matters.
  • Assist in the implementation of HSE programs standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct laboratory inspections audits and site visits to promote a strong safety culture.
  • Participate in incident investigations and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Identify assess and control critical risks particularly in high-energy environments.
  • Lead HSE awareness and training activities.
  • Collaborate with business units to align HSE practices across the organization.
  • Support projects for strategic clients in the energy infrastructure and public utilities sectors.
  • Leverage digital tools and emerging technologies to enhance HSE performance.

About You
  • College diploma (DEC) or university degree in Occupational Health and Safety Environmental Studies or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HSE-related role.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication influencing and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with digital tools and a strong interest in innovation.
  • Bilingual in French and English. *

* Member of the Canadian or Global Leadership Team: This position requires knowledge of a language other than French namely English as it involves collaboration with members of the Canadian or global leadership team located outside Québec.
Assets

  • HSE certification (ASP Construction CRST/PSAC or equivalent).
  • Experience using artificial intelligence tools to optimize processes analyze data and enhance deliverable production.
