Job Summary

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Palliser as our new Houseperson. Inspire and create the grandest experience for our guest clients and colleagues every day.  As a valued member of the Housekeeping Department the Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel with a primary focus on Guest rooms. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional friendly and engaging service at all times.
  • Adhere to housekeeping departmental standards and ensure compliance.
  • Support Room Attendants in efficiently preparing guest rooms.
  • Maintain and organize inventory in housekeeping closets.
  • Promptly respond to guest requests for additional items such as cribs cots and extra towels.
  • Collect soiled linens garbage and recyclables from Room Attendants carts and closets.
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures diligently.
  • Report any maintenance issues as needed.
  • Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations.

Qualifications :

  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to problem-solve effectively
  • Highly responsible reliable and self-motivated
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to guest needs maintaining a calm and courteous demeanor at all times
