Join Finning Canada the worlds largest Caterpillar dealer. We are currently looking for a dedicated Heavy Duty Mechanic who will be responsible for Caterpillar large engines. Role is based in Calgary AB.

If you are a safety conscious team player self-motivated autonomous detail-oriented and possess your Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification and have experience with CAT 3500 series engines then you are exactly who we are looking for!

Whats In It For You:

Wage: $50.79-$56.44
Shift: 7x7 continuous shift

CAT certified training

• Troubleshoot diagnose and repair Caterpillar equipment
• Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily
• Complete technical documentation (service reports warranty crossover notes)
• Interact with customers sales support and the rest of the Finning team
• Work with the Service Supervisor and Lead hand on various tasks as required

Qualifications:

• Interprovincial Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certification
• Previous experience on CAT 3500 engine series
• Valid drivers license with a successful recent drivers abstract
• Safety conscious team player with excellent organizational interpersonal and communication skills with a high attention to detail
• Completion of Finning S-Levels Failure Analysis Machine Electronic Controls or Tier 4 training would be considered an asset
• Completion of Caterpillar product courses would be considered an asset
• Previous Caterpillar equipment repair experience would be considered an asset

Notes:

• This position is located at the Finning Calgary location on a 7x7 continuous shift rotation
• Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current collective agreement
