Salary: $50 hour based on experience

Were hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics to keep our Caterpillar and mixed-equipment fleet running strong in Kuujjuaq Northern Quebec.

If you have experience with hydraulic systems diesel engines and Caterpillar diagnostics (SIS/ET) and youre looking for a change of pace with great pay a stable team and meaningful work this is the opportunity for you.

Youll work both in the shop and in the field helping keep critical machines running across northern operations:

• Service and diagnose Caterpillar machines (966 loaders excavators compactors) and other heavy-duty equipment
• Use SIS & CT scanners to run advanced diagnostics on hydraulic mechanical and electrical systems
• Repair or replace major components: transmissions pumps engines wiring cylinders
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs to prevent breakdowns before they happen
• Support generator systems (including adjusting Crocks on generators and TSAP 700 series models)
• Collaborate with a supportive team youre never left to figure it out alone
• Work with the right tools we provide everything you need

• 510 years of experience with heavy equipment repair (Caterpillar preferred)
• Strong understanding of hydraulics diesel electrical systems and field diagnostics
• Comfortable working on older machines and troubleshooting without guesswork
• Experience with SIS CT or third-party diagnostic tools
• DEP in Heavy Machinery or related field (Red Seal is a plus not required)
• Physically fit and open to outdoor field work when needed
• English fluency required French is not necessary
