Hardware Designer

The Hardware Designer will contribute to the development of new products and related engineering activities.

• Design and implement electronic circuits for new products
• Document design work and technical specifications
• Participate in electronic and mechanical design reviews
• Collaborate with the low-level software team on hardware bring-up and battery management algorithms
• Develop test plans to ensure product quality in production
• Work with external development partners
• Support product certification activities
• Ensure smooth transfer of new products to production
• Collaborate with production teams on product maintenance
• Support Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in circuit design and embedded systems development

Technical Skills

• Experience with electronic design tools (Altium considered an asset)
• Strong interest in new technologies
• Project management experience is an asset
