We are looking for a talented individual to join our PNE Grounds Maintenance team and ensure all areas of the Playland site including public-access locations in buildings and rides are maintained in a clean and debris-free manner. Supports the Grounds Maintenance team to ensure site cleanliness standards are being adhered to.

What will you do this year

In your role as a Playland Groundskeeper I your primary accountabilities will be to:

• Removes debris in active ride areas adhering to established lock-out procedures.
• Cleans ride units tables waste receptacles building structures and related equipment.
• Completes before and after season clean-up of both the Playland site and related Grounds Maintenance equipment.
• Operate handheld equipment and tools as required including electric leaf blowers wet/dry vacuums and other related maintenance equipment.
• Adheres to PNE policies and guidelines.
• Performs other related duties as required.

What else

• Previous leadership experience is an asset.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision.
• WHMIS Certification preferred.
• Ability to interact with guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Ability to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions.
• Sufficient physical strength stamina and coordination to permit the performance of assigned tasks.
• Successful candidates must undergo a Criminal Record Check.
