QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Requirements
Candidates should have completed a Bachelors-level program in Kinesiology or a closely related field. Candidate must be enrolled in or completed a program of study at the Masters level or higher. Priority will be given to students enrolled in Kinesiology and Health Sciences degree programming.
Qualifications:
Previous teaching TA-ing tutoring lab instruction or student-support experience is an asset. Candidates must demonstrate strong knowledge of Kinesiology concepts and the ability to clearly communicate and effectively disseminate course content while engaging and supporting students.
Course Specific Requirements:
The candidate should have strong knowledge of occupational biomechanics ergonomics injury risk assessment and task analysis as well as extensive experience with data analysis tools Excel modeling and quantitative problem solving. Due to the nature of this role previous experience as a TA in this course is considered an asset.
