Role Summary: As a Global Customs & Trade Compliance Manager youll and play a key role in ensuring global trade compliance optimizing customs processes and driving supply chain efficiency across our international operations.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Realization of potential savings through the optimization of the supply chain and the associated customs burden
  • Preparing and submitting customs declarations and other required documentation
  • Communicating with government agencies to resolve customs-related issues
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all customs transactions
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with customs regulations and the commerce control list
  • Classifying and valuing imported goods in accordance with customs regulations and staying up-to-date on changes in customs regulations and procedures

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Certification as a Customs Specialist (e.g. Certified Customs Specialist or Customs Broker License)
  • Experience with trade agreements (e.g. Free Trade Agreements USMCA etc.)
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations procedures and documentation requirements
  • A degree or certification in logistics supply chain management international trade or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in customs clearance and compliance
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations and trade compliance procedures
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP software (Oracle)
  • Competence to explain complex regulations in simple clear language while maintaining a customer-first approach.

The salary range for this position is $91440 CAD - $125730 CAD which will be determined based on the candidates experience and qualifications.
