This position will be posted from May 7 2026 - May 21 2026.

What Youll Do:

Assist the Nutrien Subsurface Geoscience team with a variety of Geophysical & Geological tasks that directly support Nutriens potash mining operations.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide geological and geophysical support at both the mine and regional scales.
- Assist with the execution of surface-based potash exploration drill programs.
- Assist with geophysical survey acquisition such as ground penetrating radar (GPR) electromagnetics (EM) and seismic reflection/refraction.
- Wireline log analysis and interpretation (picking geologic markers etc.).
- Computation Geophysics and Data Analysis Applications
- Preparation of technical reports and presentations.
- Installation and management of geophysical and geotechnical equipment.
- Occasionally work in Nutriens underground potash mines.
- Some travel and/or longer workdays may be required.

What Youll Bring:

Completed a degree in Geology or Geophysics from an accredited university.
Preference given to and/or Ph.D. in Geophysics and Geology.
Superior interpersonal organizational communication writing and computer skills will be required.
Past industry experience in potash mining and oil and gas would be considered an asset.
