About the Role
A Few Good Lads is looking for a motivated General Labourer to join a construction project in Langley. This is a great opportunity for someone with some construction experience who is looking to develop their skills and build a long-term career in the industry.
The successful candidate will work alongside experienced tradespeople assisting with a variety of construction tasks while gaining valuable hands-on experience. For the right person this role has the potential to become a full-time position with ongoing training and career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist tradespeople and site supervisors with daily construction activities
- Load unload and move materials around the job site
- Perform general site clean-up and housekeeping duties
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Follow site safety procedures and company policies
- Support various trades as required
- Help maintain a productive and organized work environment
Requirements
- Some previous construction experience required
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically capable of performing manual labour and lifting construction materials
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace safety
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
