Temporary General Assemblers and Sewing Machine OperatorsCurrently our Operations Team is seeking Temporary Mechanical Assemblers and Sewing Machine Operators at our Pembroke Ontario office. Summary:The successful candidates will prepare and assemble/and or sew quality personal protective & Responsibilities:Operates production line equipment of a level of complexity requiring the specified training or assembling products units machines equipment and/or subassemblies that are larger heavier and/or more complex;May cut materials;Drills taps or reams holes using drill press or portable drill. Aligns components and bolts screws or rivets them together using hand tools or portable powered tools; Tests or assist in testing operation of completed product; Assists more junior operators in performance of skilled function;May repair units that fail to meet specifications;Mounts assembled components such as transformers resistors transistors capacitors integrated circuits and sockets on chassis panel;Perform inspection to ensure maintenance of quality standards;May perform assembly operations under microscope or other magnifying device;Other duties as requiredQualifications:Understand safety features and safe operation methods for all machines;At least two (2) years of production/manufacturing experience;Ability to communicate and read in English; Ability to work overtime when required;At least two (2) years of mechanical assembly/and or sewing experience.
