Logistics: Tooled truck supplied
Travel: Per Diem & accommodations provided
Wage $56.73-$63.03 (wage RWA)
$2.25 Field Premium $3.50 Shift Premium

Job Description:
As aGas Compression Techyoullput your skills into action by partnering directly with customers to keep their operations running at peak and oversee repairs on a wide range of Caterpillar gas and diesel enginesboth in the shop and out in the fieldleveragingyour technical knowledge to build trust solve challenges and deliver the reliability our customers depend on. Your work will include:
- Field diagnosis and running repairs
- Largescaleoverhauls and rebuilds
- Componentreplacements
- Completing required paperwork andmaintainingclear customer communication
Qualifications
- Journeyperson Heavy Duty MechanicCertification(Millwright and Automotive also accepted)
- Valid class 5 drivers license with a successful drivers abstractrequiredfor field positions
- Minimum2yearsexperienceasaJourneyperson Heavy Duty MechanicCertification
- 2yearsexperienceon gas engines and compressors
- 2years experienceoperatinga service truck
- PreviousCAT general line experience including troubleshooting skills and a good understanding of CAT engine and powertrain components
- Completion orin the process of completingFinning S-level courses
- Team player will have excellent interpersonal organizational and communication skills
- Must be able todemonstratebasic computer skills
Important Details
- This positionis based out of Calgary Edmonton or Red Deer on a 7x7 shift
- Must be able and willing to travel to and from customer sites across our territory
- A condition of employment may include the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol fitness testing) and wear a respiratorwhere applicable
