Full Time AZ Driver, Night Shift

AZ Driver Full-Time $28.02/HourMississauga Ontario Dedicated RouteMonday to Friday 7:00 PM to 5:00 AMMinimum 2 years of commercial driving experience requiredHand-bombing and tailgate deliveries using a pump cartCardinal Couriers is looking for a motivated individual to join our team. This position is responsible for loading orders into an assigned company vehicle and following a predetermined route to ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time. This is a physically demanding fast-paced role that involves driving lifting lowering and carrying packages to ensure damage-free and Duties:Safely operate and maneuver heavy trucks in accordance with traffic laws and regulationsTransport goods over long-distance or local routes ensuring on-time deliveryEnsure proper loading and securement of cargo to prevent shifting or damage during transitUnload cargo at delivery points and verify quantities against delivery documentsNavigate routes efficiently including unfamiliar areas to meet delivery timelinesConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections checking mechanical and safety systems (e.g. brakes tires lights)Report mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate teamMaintain accurate records of driving hours mileage rest periods and delivery logsCommunicate effectively with dispatch customers and team members regarding schedules or issuesProvide excellent customer service at delivery locationsFollow all safety procedures and immediately report any incidents or concernsWho You Are:Valid AZ drivers license with a minimum of 2 years experience23 years of commercial driving experience preferredClean Driver Abstract and CVOR reportPrevious warehouse shipping/receiving experience is an assetAble to work independently and take initiativeStrong communication and multitasking skillsComfortable working under deadlinesAble to lift up to 70 lbsMaintain a clean and organized work environmentBenefits:Extended health benefits (prescription vision dental massage therapy mental health etc.)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Paid on-site trainingConsistent routes and equipment (where applicable)Permanent full-time employmentPositive team-oriented and safety-focused work environmentWhy Join Us: Cardinal Couriers is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace committed to fostering an inclusive environment.
