Job Description: Full Stack Developer (TypeScript PostgreSQL AWS)
Toronto ON - Hybrid (4 Days WFO)

- Design develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications using TypeScript.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise-grade applications.
- Develop robust backend services and data access layers leveraging PostgreSQL.
- Design secure reliable and high-performing cloud solutions on AWS.
- Collaborate with product owners architects and cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions.
- Participate in code reviews design discussions and technical decision-making.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices to improve deployment efficiency.
- Troubleshoot application database and infrastructure issues across environments.
- Ensure adherence to security scalability performance and coding standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of full-stack development experience.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern application development practices.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database design query optimization and data modeling.
- Extensive experience with AWS services such as EC2 Lambda ECS/EKS RDS S3 API Gateway CloudWatch and IAM.
- Experience building and integrating REST APIs and microservices.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with Git Agile/Scrum methodologies and automated testing frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Okta OAuth2 OpenID Connect (OIDC) SSO and authentication/authorization frameworks.
- Solution architecture and system design experience.
- Experience with DevOps CI/CD pipelines Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience designing highly available and scalable enterprise solutions.
- Exposure to observability and monitoring tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related discipline.
- AWS Certification (Developer Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer) is a plus.
- Experience working in banking financial services or other regulated industries is an advantage.
