Who You Will Work With:
The vacantFraud Strategy Senior Specialistrolewillreport to the Leader Fraud Strategy.
What YouWillDo:
Owning and managing the end-to-end fraud governance operating model across all fraud-related forums and engagement channels.
Leading the planning execution and continuous improvement of governance forums including executive committees product-specific fraud committees working groups and financial institution engagements.
Serving as the primary liaison with financial institution fraud leaders fostering strong partnerships and ensuring effective stakeholder participation.
Coordinating cross-functional contributions from Fraud Strategy Product Operations Analytics Legal Compliance and Client Relationship teams.
Facilitating the intake prioritization and progression of fraud risk issues initiatives and escalations through appropriate governance channels.
Overseeing the full lifecycle of governance activities including planning meeting management action tracking and follow-through on commitments.
Developing and maintaining governance documentation including Terms of Reference (TORs) agendas minutes action logs decision records and stakeholder feedback.
Defining monitoring and reporting on governance effectiveness metrics forum KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Driving alignment and transparency across stakeholders to support fraud risk mitigation strategic priorities and operational execution.
Developing and framing materials/presentations that support senior management in articulating findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
Demonstrating confidence in your ability to communicate detailed information in an impactful way.
WhatYou Bring:
3 years of experience in fraud management financial crime risk management governance or related disciplines within banking payments fintech consulting or other regulated industries.
Experience engaging directly with financial institutions payment networks industry associations regulators or ecosystem partners on fraud risk or governance-related matters.
Exceptional organizational skills including experience managing competing priorities coordinating multiple stakeholders and maintaining governance artifacts action plans and decision records.
Demonstrated expertise in one or more key fraud typologies such as account takeover scams identity fraud mule activity synthetic identity fraud or payment fraud.
Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders across diverse functions including Product Risk Operations Analytics Legal Compliance Client Relationship Management and external partners.
Experience supporting or managing governance forums committees working groups steering committees or executive-level stakeholder engagements.
Ability to design and facilitate productive discussions translate complex issues into clear decision points and drive accountability for follow-through and outcomes.
Strong understanding of the Canadian payments ecosystem including real-time payments digital identity authentication controls fraud risk management and regulatory considerations.
Ability to interpret and synthesize internal and external threat intelligence industry trends and emerging fraud risks to inform strategic decision-making.
Excellent written verbal and presentation skills with the ability to tailor communications for technical operational and executive audiences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex issues identify root causes and drive practical solutions.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and executive storytelling with experience creating concise impactful materials that enable senior leadership decision-making.
Must be eligible to work for Interac Canada on a full-time basis.

The hiringrangefor this position is$85000 - $105000 and you will also be eligible for our short-term incentive plan.
