Job Summary
Position SummaryWe are currently looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual for the temporary position of Forklift Operator for the summer months. The Forklift Operator prepares loads and unloads building materials in the warehouse through the safe operation of a lift truck. Together with other team members the Forklift Operator works to exceed customer expectations. The wage range is $22 - $26.75 per hour (Tier 1; $22 - $24 Tier 2; $24 - $26.75).Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily inspections of lift trucks and complete required truck maintenance and servicing requirements are orders to required specifications for and unload building materials in a safe and efficient load contents for accuracy and secure that all products are shipped on schedule and according to specific instructions by management to meet customer contact with supervisors and work to resolve issues as they as an ambassador of the company with all employees and all regulations company policies and duties as assigned by QualificationsValid forklift certification (propane).Minimum of two years written and oral communication of basic hand tool RequirementsAbility to lift and carry up to and driving for longs periods of climbing up and down pushing bending and torso twisting movementswith weight.
