Finish Skid Steer Operator
Job Summary
- Operate a skid steer with precision to perform fine grading finishing and surface preparation.
- Work on civil construction projects including roadways subdivisions parking lots and infrastructure developments.
- Follow grade stakes elevations and project specifications to achieve accurate finished surfaces.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.
- Report mechanical issues equipment deficiencies and safety concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with supervisors labourers surveyors and other equipment operators to meet project schedules and quality standards.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area while adhering to all applicable safety regulations and procedures.
- Assist with general construction duties and support site operations as required.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently in varying weather and site conditions.
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating a skid steer in a construction environment with a focus on fine grading and finishing.
- Experience in asphalt paving gravel work concrete preparation earthworks or civil construction is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of grades slopes elevations and finishing techniques.
- Ability to read and follow site plans grade stakes and project requirements.
