Finance Dashboard & Reporting Analyst 6 months contract

Our client a prominent Utilities /Energy firm is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Dashboard & Reporting Analyst to assist with performance tracking and reporting across the financial landscape. This position is hybrid requiring occasional work at our clients location in Torontos West End.

If you excel in Power BI SAP data environments and financial KPIs and have a passion for transforming raw data into insightful dashboards for senior stakeholders this role could be an excellent fit for you.

Your responsibilities will include:

-You will collaborate closely with the Program Manager and Finance leadership to create enhance and maintain dashboards that provide visibility into S2P R2R and Fixed Asset Lifecycle processes.

- Design and sustain interactive drillable dashboards in Power BI to monitor metrics across various processes.

- Extract and model data from SAP tables and custom views within SAP Datasphere.

- Develop calculated columns measures and KPIs using DAX and Power Query.

- Facilitate the integration of non-SAP data (SharePoint Excel trackers Forms data) to enrich dashboards.

- Work with subject matter experts to define and standardize KPIs across finance processes.

- Create and maintain documentation for metric definitions DAX formulas and data logic.

Required Skills:

- University degree preferred - Engineering Computer Science combined with Accounting/Finance would be ideal - A minimum of 4 years of experience in a data analyst or reporting role preferably within a finance/SAP environment. - Advanced skills in Power BI including DAX Power Query report design and interactivity. - Strong practical experience with SAP data (BSEG BKPF ACDOCA EKPO or similar). Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with performance metrics frameworks (L1 to L4). -Exposure to regulated utility or SAP-heavy environments is a plus -Ability to communicate insights in simple business-friendly terms
