TheIntegrated Technology and Electronic Services (ITES) division is hiring a FieldServices Supervisor reporting directly to the ITES Manager and providesoperational oversight of field-based electronic and transportation systemssupporting bridge operations. The position is responsible for the maintenancemonitoring testing diagnosis repair and lifecycle management of electronicand intelligent transportation systems (including traffic management roadsidecommunication wireless weather stations security cameras and emergencyphones) supporting HHB operations. This position ensures effective operations throughstructured preventative maintenance systemmonitoring prioritized fault response and continuous improvement programs tosupport system reliability and performance.
This position designatedas a safety-sensitive position requiring work in variable and adverse weatherconditions active traffic environments extreme heights (170 to 320 feet) andconfined spaces within bridge structures. A critical accountability isadherence to the HHB Safety standards policies and processes. This includeshazard assessments wearing required Personal Protective Equipment properaccess to confined spaces and safety observations.
EssentialDuties and Responsibilities:
Providestrategic and operational leadership for HHBs technology electronic andelectrical infrastructure supporting safe reliable and efficient bridgeoperations.
Upholdand promote safety standards policies and procedures in a safety-sensitiveenvironment including hazard assessments PPE compliance confined spaceaccess incident reporting corrective actions and safety observations.
Overseethe maintenance monitoring testing diagnosis repair replacement andperformance of Intelligent Transportation and Electronic Systems includingtraffic management surveillance/security road weather communicationscameras scanners antennas cabling power supplies and relatedinfrastructure.
Ensuresystem reliability and availability by prioritizing failures coordinatingrepair resources maintaining critical spare inventory and enforcingstructured response protocols.
Supportand infrastructure environments including hardware deployment systemupgrades power distribution backup power systems and end-user supportincluding development of training materials and user documentation.
Leadand supervise staff by assigning planning and reviewing work; directingworkflow; monitoring workload and priorities; conducting performanceevaluations; and supporting recruitment training and professional developmentthrough coaching mentoring and delegation.
Ensureemployees and contractors maintain full compliance with safety requirements includingtraining certifications inspections incident reporting and documentationand that corrective actions are implemented and tracked.
Contributeto the development implementation and continuous improvement of ITESpolicies procedures and service delivery models to enhance operationalefficiency technical performance and cross-functional collaboration.
Monitor and report on team performancepriorities and backlog using operational and statistical reporting tools tosupport decision-making and continuous improvement.
Performother duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Aminimum of 3 to 5 years of supervisory or equivalent people leadershipexperience including assigning work managing performance and directing teamoperations.
Demonstratedknowledge of intelligent transportation systems traffic management systemssurveillance technologies and related electronic field infrastructure.
Projectmanagement training or demonstrated experience coordinating technical projectsresources timelines and deliverables (Asset)
Workplacesafety training and knowledge of applicable legislation regulations and Actsrelated to the work environment (Asset)
Experienceworking in a fast-paced project-driven environment with multiple prioritiesand deadlines.
Strongcommunication and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborateeffectively across teams and stakeholders.
Legallyeligible to work in Canada

Positiondetails:
Hiring 1 position. This is a Full-time PermanentNon-union position working 35 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Shift work on-call response and extendedhours will be required based on operational demands.
The annual salary range for this positionis $73376 - $91720.
Workingconditions:
This role is primarily office-based atHHB facilities with periodic requirements to work in equipment rooms and fieldenvironments including bridge decks. On-call availability is required tosupport critical infrastructure and incident response. Work is performed inoffice field and bridge environments with exposure to vehicular trafficmoving equipment noise adverse weather extreme heights and confined spaceswhile supporting bridge operations and maintenance. The position involves managing competingpriorities time-sensitive incidents and complex technical and operationalissues requiring sustained mental focus sound judgment and effectivedecision-making.
