Job Summary:
Field Service Technicians perform a variety of tasks such as installation maintenance and troubleshooting of our network and electronic monitoring recording products and automatic drilling systems. This role will support the central and northern Alberta area.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Mechanical and/or Electrical/Electronics servicing troubleshooting installation and repair.
- Cleaning and management of assigned tools and vehicle.
- Read blueprints diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- 24-hour on-call duties.
- Maintain strong business relationship with existing clients.
- Communicate with Operations and Field Service Supervisor regularly on all aspects of service.
- Complete reporting job and billing paperwork.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements (Minimum Education and Experience):
- Knowledge and experience with oilfield equipment and service work is an asset.
- Experience with schematics and blueprints.
- Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written).
- Valid Class 5 drivers license.
- CSO/H2S Certifications.
Technical Requirements (software or program knowledge needed):
- Computer and network skills an asset
- Mechanical aptitude is an asset
