Description

Clean Harbors is looking for a Field Operations Supervisor for our Edmonton team. This person will be responsible for the cost-effective coordination and direction of field personnel and equipment to complete assigned field and service projects.

Provide an important operational layer above the Project Managers to oversee field execution support project startups and quickly resolve operational issues

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practicespolicies and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Responsible for overseeing Projects Manpower and Equipment;
  • Support Project Managers with complex field and operational problems.
  • Oversee project startups to ensure equipment crews and processes are properly set up.
  • Troubleshoot production equipment and manpower issues.
  • Standardize field operations and best practices across projects.
  • Help prevent delays downtime and cost overruns.
  • Provide additional oversight as the number and complexity of projects increase.


Qualifications
  • 5 years of supervisor experience.
  • Ability to travel throughout the year;
  • Ability to manage change perform multiple tasks simultaneously and understand issues and resolve/address strategically.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Understanding of Corporate Safety & Compliance Policies.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid drivers license - with clean 5-year drivers abstract.
