Feature Animation Assistant Editor

What will you work on
The Assistant Editor is responsible for supporting the editorial team and maintaining an efficient editorial pipeline.

How will you create impact

• Assist the PictureEditorin their daily duties.
• Keep the Avid project organized.
• Manage and process storyboards audio and animation files.
• Log/Bin all audio records: scratch dialogue production recording sessions and ADR
• Turnovers for sound department digital intermediate and music departments.
• Ingest assets from sound dept music dept etc. keeping them organized.
• Organize sound effects and music libraries.
• Outputs for screenings & QC of outputs.
• Mandatory hybrid role with days in the office each week - a minimum of 3-4 days depending on production stage.

What are your skills and experience

• 3-5 years experience with Avid Media Composer.

• Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail
• Must perform well under pressure both independently and with a team
• Positive can do attitude while maintaining a high level of professionalism
• Ability to be proactive flexible and motivated to learn
• Excellent communication skills
• Quick and creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in Ontario is $70000 to $90000 Per Annum. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job years of experience within the required industry education etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
