Extrusion Machine Operator

• Safely operate and monitor blown-film extrusion equipment to meet production quality and efficiency requirements.
• Follow work orders production specifications and established operating procedures ensuring the correct materials and supplies are available for each job.
• Perform equipment checks basic troubleshooting and routine operator maintenance to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.
• Complete in-process quality checks and make adjustments as required to maintain product specifications.
• Follow all safety food safety quality and housekeeping standards including hazard assessments critical control points and other required procedures.
• Work closely with experienced operators maintenance quality and other team members to resolve issues and keep production moving.
• Build your knowledge of extrusion processes equipment materials and troubleshooting through hands-on training and coaching.
• Take an active role in learning new skills and progressing through the extrusion operator career path.

This position operates on a 12-hour rotating continental shift schedule alternating between:

• Day Shift: 5:30 a.m. 5:30 p.m.
• Night Shift: 5:30 p.m. 5:30 a.m.

Rotation includes scheduled days off providing a predictable schedule and dedicated time to rest and recharge between shifts.

Physical Requirements: This is a hands-on manufacturing role that requires prolonged periods of standing and walking as well as the ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
