Environmental Field Service Technician

Clean Harbors inGuelph ON is seeking aField Service Technician to join their safety consciousteam in Field Services! This roleis associated with hazardous waste clean-up site remediation equipment decontamination working in confined spaces and the handling of hazardous materials.


*This role is based out of our Guelph ON head office - however it requires flexibility to travel throughout Ontario.*

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
• Perform environmental remediation hazardous waste management and chemical/water spill cleanups.
• Conduct tank and vessel cleaning including confined space entry and work at heights.
• Complete labor-intensive field service projects and emergency response activities.
• Safely use hand tools pressure washers and other powered industrial equipment.
• Wear required personal protective equipment including respirators.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Valid Class G license with reliable transportation required.
• Willingness to travel to various sites across Ontario as needed.
• Previous labour or hazardous waste removal experience is highly preferred.
• Industrial cleaning and chemical handling experience is an asset.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting and moving materials.
• Willingness to be trained for confined space entry and work at heights.
• Must be clean-shaven when required to ensure proper respirator fit and use.
