Environmental Division Manager, Decommissioning & Abandonment
Job Summary
FLINT is growing its Decommissioning & Abandonment services within our Environmental Services division and is seeking an Environmental Division Manager to lead and expand this practice.
This role is suited for a proven operational and technical leader with strong business acumen and deep experience in asset retirement abandonment and site transition programs. You will be responsible for setting strategic direction ensuring disciplined execution strengthening client relationships and delivering safe compliant and costeffective demolition and abandonment projects across Western Canada and into Ontario.
What would you be doing
- Lead and grow the Decommissioning & Abandonment service line ensuring strong operational performance financial sustainability and highquality project delivery.
- Steward execution of complex Decommissioning & Abandonment programs including well and facility abandonment coordination demolition site transitions and integration with assessment remediation and reclamation activities.
- Support identification and pursuit of new business opportunities including developing proposals leading RFP responses and supporting crossfunctional growth strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients regulators and relevant stakeholders representing FLINT as a trusted partner in asset retirement.
- Support crossservice collaboration with our two other technical service lines Assessment Remediation Reclamation and Closure (ARRC) and Water Resources and compliance (WRC) to deliver integrated environmental solutions.
- Mentor develop and support multidisciplinary teams fostering a culture of safety accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in engineering technical diploma tradequalified professional or related discipline with relevant technical training certifications and progressive leadership experience.
- 15 years of experience in industrial and/or environmental asset retirement including well pipeline facility and infrastructure abandonment demolition and site transition programs.
- Proven leadership experience overseeing complex contractordriven execution multidiscipline teams and highrisk field operations.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and client requirements related to abandonment demolition and site closures including construction interfaces safetycritical work and execution risk.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets margins schedules and resourcing across multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong communication and stakeholdermanagement skills with experience representing technical programs to senior clients regulators and partners.
