Engineering Coordinator (Maternity Leave Coverage)

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge as our new Engineering Coordinator. We are seeking a dynamic highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Engineering team. The Engineering Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations contributing to a problem-free experience for both guests and colleagues. 

What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Assistant Director Engineering responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: 

• Consistently offer professional friendly and engaging service  
• Follow departmental policies procedures and service standards 
• Lead the implementation administration and ongoing management of Transcendent and ALICE systems for preventative maintenance and work order tracking  
• Perform office administration duties including payroll preparation document management record keeping and internal communications  
• Act as office administrator for GAIA  
• Maintain and update departmental Health & Safety binders on an ongoing basis  
• Organize coordinate and track hotel and residence preventative maintenance programs  
• Coordinate schedule and monitor in-house work and external service contractors  
• Ensure compliance with departmental policies procedures and service standards

• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications :

Your experience and skills include: 

• Strong organizational and time management skills  
• Experience working in a hotel maintenance environment including preventative maintenance programs  
• Ability to remain flexible and consistently re-prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment 
• Previous exposure to departmental accounting and administrative tasks  
• Experience with contractor scheduling and project administration  
• Strong computer skills across Microsoft Windows applications with the ability to quickly learn web-based systems and software  
• Experience using property management systems  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
