Job Summary
We are currently seeking 4 (four) experienced Electricians to join our team at Levack Mine!
Responsibilities:
- Install maintain troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including power distribution motors controls lighting and communication systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Diagnose electrical faults and safely restore equipment to service.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with Ontario mining regulations the Electrical Safety Code and company policies.
- Lock out tag out and verify energy isolation before performing work.
- Maintain accurate maintenance inspection and repair records.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors maintenance teams and operations personnel.
- Identify report and correct electrical hazards and unsafe conditions.
- Maintain clean organized and safe work areas underground.
Qualifications: Formal Education Certifications or Equivalents
- Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent certification/experience.
- Certification of Qualification or red seal as 309A or 442A is preferred.
Work Experience: Nature & Length
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
