• Drive a Rear Packer Roll-Off Straight Truck and/or Pick-up Truck to customer locations to collect recyclable materials
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report equipment defects or damage
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and maintaining a clean work area at customer sites
• Accurately complete route sheets work orders scale tickets mileage reports and logbooks
• Operate truck-specific equipment safely including loading unloading switching and securing containers and bins
• Ensure loads are properly secured and transported according to company and regulatory requirements
• Follow all safety procedures while maintaining a clean and environmentally responsible operation

• You hold a validDZ Drivers Licensewith air brake endorsement
• You have experience in recycling waste management transportation or a related industry
• You are highly organized and able to manage your time effectively throughout the day
• You have a strong customer service mindset and communicate professionally with clients and coworkers
• You have good knowledge of Ottawa and surrounding areas
• You are comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• You pay close attention to detail and can accurately handle weights measures and documentation
