Drafter

FLINT is seeking a Drafter with design and construction experience for a permanent job in Airdrie AB starting August 2026. In this position you will enjoy a Monday to Friday work schedule 8-hour workdays and benefits after 300 hours worked.

This position does not include camp accommodations living out allowance or travel allowance. Therefore it is best suited for local candidates; however those willing to travel or relocate at their own expense are also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Drafter in the design and construction of various projects with a strong portfolio of relevant work in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Proven proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD CADworx and SpoolFab/Acron.
• Familiar with detailed fabrication drawings for pressure vessels and nozzles including welding details and 2D cross-sectional views
• Experience working within VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) workflows
• Strong knowledge of drafting techniques engineering and/or architectural principles and project specifications.
• Familiarity with applicable industry codes standards and design tools.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all drawings and technical documentation.
• Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
  • WHMIS
• Proficient in English both written and verbal communication required.
• Must have own reliable transportation to site.
