We are currently looking for aDonor Relations&Development Officer at our Edmontonbase in theFoundationdepartment.

It takes a team to make a difference in peoples lives. When it comes to STARS life-saving mission it also takes individuals communitiesindustryand governments. As a member of our Foundation team you will be on the front-line serving as an ambassador and fostering relationships with our allies. Be part of something part of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Foundations efforts to raise critical funds for mission operations.
  • Driving strategic relations expansion in Alberta by meeting and exceeding activity targets (discovery calls face to face meetingssubmittedproposals and successful solicitations) as mutually agreed upon with the Director of Development.
  • Identifying cultivating soliciting and stewardingmajor gifts and sponsorships to the foundation which will includeidentifyingnew prospects as well as growing current donor relationships.
  • Preparing and delivering high-quality proposals presentations and other communication materials to prospective donors and sponsors.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience insalesor fundraising preferably in a development-focused role
  • Post secondary degree in a related field is an asset
  • Demonstratedtrack recordinsolicitingmajor gifts from corporations foundations and individuals.
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills tact and diplomacy.
