Job Summary
Summary: Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing and working with the Canadian HR Team the Document Control and Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for administrative initiatives within the Med-Eng Canadian Manufacturing plant located in Pembroke is a combined role to support Documentation Control and Human Resources Control provides support to the Plant in many different areas including managing and preparing training records documentation libraries and assisting manufacturing engineering with document changes and support includes coordination of recruiting/new hire on-boarding training and development health and safety performance management benefits administration and processes paperwork for functional areas according to established position interacts daily with all Associates at the Plant and many departments within the & Responsibilities:Documentation Control Responsibilities:Documentation updates manages database to ensure proper revision control manages documentation libraries on the production floor prints new revisions based on Engineering Change notices. Manages the documentation libraries throughout the training attendance forms for doc changes based on Engineering Change Notices for ongoing production training and awareness. Coordinates document training activities with Production ManagerUploads and manages training records within participant in both internal and external audit the employee training databases including Q-Pulse and training matrices working with plant and production management to ensure that yearly process and equipment recertification training exercises remains to-dateAssists maintenance and manufacturing engineering with document creation process changes and updates for new and existing equipment (WIs MIs LOTO) as requiredHuman Resources Administration Responsibilities:Coordinates the recruitment process within the facility and work with leaders to ensure proper onboarding & orientation and maintains training programs as it pertains to the operational and administers benefit programs STD/LTD claims and WSIB accurate records through all areas of and Safety Team member prepares minutes maintains SDS sheets coordinates monthly inspections and helps co-ordinate legislative weekly and monthly H&S activities and tracks actions and outstanding health and safety maintenance with scheduling of mandatory equipment inspections recertifications of lifts and equipment management reports as other related duties as Administrative Duties:Manages petty cash fund cheques prepares receipts and monthly summary to purchase reqs and POs for non-inventoried invoices for POs prepares receipts for non-evident goods to ensure received in ERP and sent along to finance for kitchen supplies maintains coffee machines and other kitchen in the social committee and assists with plant tours and headcount list key holder list security access list emergency call out list vendor and contractor lists and Business Continuity in special projects as or diploma in Business Administration or equivalent experienceA minimum of 3 years working in an administrative roleHuman Resources Coordination with a minimum one-year recruitment experience preferredMinimum 2 years experience in an ISO Certified Manufacturing with computers and Microsoft programs such as Excel Word and PowerPointStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to identify and implement effective organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple relationship-building have demonstrated strong customer service orientation in order to provide exceptional service and continuous improvement on meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
