Position Summary

Crystal Clean Maintenance is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Operations to lead our Organization. This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing operational performance driving continuous improvement initiatives managing key client relationships and ensuring profitability across the division.

The ideal candidate is a strong operational leader with experience managing teams budgets assets and cross-functional projects in a fast-paced service environment.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
  • Lead manage and hold accountable the operations team to ensure execution of short- and long-term company goals measurables and operational processes
  • Drive operational excellence through strong leadership accountability and continuous improvement
  • Ensure all operational procedures and standards are consistently followed across the division
Strategic Projects & Process Improvement
  • Lead and deliver cross-functional projects that support operational improvements and company growth initiatives
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions to improve performance and service delivery
  • Ensure core operational processes are properly documented maintained and continuously improved
Client Relations & Account Retention
  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Resolve escalated operational and service-related issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Support long-term client retention through operational consistency and service excellence
Financial & Asset Management
  • Own and manage Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) performance and operational budgets to achieve profitability targets
  • Monitor division performance through company scorecards and operational reporting systems
  • Oversee the tracking maintenance and strategic acquisition of operational assets including vehicles equipment tools and technology
  • Ensure operational assets are properly utilized maintained and aligned with company growth objectives and ROI expectations
Team Development & Accountability
  • Mentor and support supervisors managers and operational staff
  • Foster a culture of accountability communication and continuous development
  • Support recruitment workforce planning and succession development initiatives


Requirements
Qualifications
  • Previous senior operations management or director-level experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Experience managing operational budgets COGS and profitability targets
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional operational projects
  • Excellent organizational communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong client relationships and conflict-resolution skills
  • Experience in facility maintenance kitchen exhaust cleaning janitorial or service-based operations is considered an asset
  • Valid Class-5 drivers license required
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
