Job Summary

Trans Mountain Corporation operates Canadas only pipeline system transporting oil products to the West Coast. We deliver approximately 890000 barrels of petroleum products each day through a dual pipeline system of more than 1150 kilometres of pipeline in Alberta British Columbia and Washington state.

Trans Mountain also operates a state-of-the-art loading facility Westridge Marine Terminal with three berths providing tidewater access to global markets.

As a federal Crown corporation Trans Mountain continues to build on more than 70 years of experience delivering operational and safety excellence through our crude oil pipeline system.

With our expanded pipeline system now in place Trans Mountain provides enhanced direct access for Canadian crude oil to world markets. The expansion realizes a world-class system for oil transport developed to Canadas high standards within one of the most stringent regulatory regimes in the world creating long-term economic benefits enhanced marine protection enhanced safety and emergency management capabilities and enhanced skilled-worker capacity building in communities and Indigenous groups.

Trans Mountain is seeking a collaborative motivated and values-driven individual to join our dynamic team as a Digital Design & Production Advisor. This role blends strong graphic design fundamentals with digital content production and storytelling skills including social media visuals presentations print materials and video production and editing. In this position you will play a key role in bringing corporate stories campaigns and information to life by translating complex or technical information into accessible clear engaging and brand-aligned graphics and digital content that supports internal and external communications and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and produce digital assets including social media graphics digital campaign materials corporate website and intranet visual content and social media-ready video stories.
  • Create creative including fact sheets one-pagers signage posters event materials infographics data visualizations and presentations in PowerPoint and PDF.
  • Prepare print-ready and digital-ready files ensuring quality accuracy and accessibility standards.
  • Edit and produce short-form video content and simple motion graphics to support campaigns and storytelling.
  • Maintain TMs brand library including logos fonts and templates.
  • Apply brand standards and accessibility best practices across all deliverables.
  • Conduct regular audits of content and channels to ensure visual consistency and accuracy.
  • Work closely with writers advisors and subject matter experts to develop integrated content.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
  • Provide design support on special projects and corporate initiatives.

Qualifications and Professional Experience

  • Post-secondary education in Graphic Design Digital Communications or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in graphic design and digital content production.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced project-based communications or marketing environment.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign Illustrator and Photoshop; Adobe Premiere Pro; After Effects; Canva; SharePoint or similar CMS platforms; and Microsoft Office including Word Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A track record of delivering highquality work managing competing priorities and supporting key business processes or operational functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds and levels across the organization.
  • Effective communication skills including the ability to convey information clearly respectfully and professionally.
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail in a fastpaced environment.
  • Commitment to inclusive practices and a willingness to contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive workplace culture.
